We are a Christ-centered, residential discipleship program for individuals experiencing life-controlling problems.
While in the induction phase students participate in a variety of activities such as but not limited to, Biblical education, spiritual counseling, work projects, ministry outreach to the local community, and a number of community service projects. During phase one we seek to introduce each student to the benefits of incorporating into their daily life spiritual disciplines such as prayer, Bible reading and meditation, Christian fellowship, regular church attendance, worship, and Christian service to their family and community.
Upon completion of the induction phase students are transported to the
Teen Challenge National Training Center in Rehrersburg, PA for phase two. During this part of the student’s journey, they will continue to receive spiritual support and counseling, theological training, SA counseling and education, GED classes (when applicable). Students also have their job skills assessed and are then placed in one of the work programs available. Because this is a Christ-centered program all training and education is scriptural in its approach and content. Students are encouraged to participate in one of the many ministry opportunities on campus such as the jail ministry, street ministry, or prayer ministry. Students who are musically gifted can audition for one of the music ministries such as the Teen Challenge choir, Teen Challenge worship band, or New Creation.
To inquire about becoming a student in our program, please call us at 252-305-1129; we will count it a privilege to help you begin your new life with Christ as your guide.
